I’ve been blogging for five years, but this might be a good place for you to start.
We had a packed studio at the gorgeous and industrial Story Louisville building a few weeks ago as thirteen local ladies gathered to take part in the Level Up Louisville still life watercolor class.
Thank you Natalia (photographer and owner of Level-Up) for capturing these wonderful photos for us. Bright light filled the room, creativity roamed, and gathering with the community left is all filled.
Level Up Louisville offers local pop up classes taught in the coolest places Louisville has to offer, the classes are ever changing, but to see what they have going on currently, click here. I’ve seen everything from financial tips and bourbon, to hoop embroidery and photography.
I’m so excited they brought me on for teaching several art classes, it’s really the perfect fit. PLUS we have lots of ideas for future sessions, those will be listed soon. Think youth summer camps, toddler & mommy art, and of course more adult classes.
Or if you are interested in a similar floral watercolor class, we have tickets available for late March. The only difference will be that we will be working from a photograph, opposed to a still life arrangement, it was one of the things we decided to tweek for future sessions.
A home portrait watercolor class will be available soon as well, so stay tuned for that one.
The beautiful flowers are Rose & Honey Floral
. I met the two AMAZING owners (Mary Katherine Woods and Kayla Waterhouse) a few months ago, and fell in love with them and their studio space. They hosted one of the Tuesday Together events that I try so hard to attend each month. I loved it so much, I even posted it on Instagram
, which of course didn’t do it justice.
I’m so proud of all the attendees, check out a few of the finished watercolors:
I added a new tab
to my website for those who want to check in frequently to see when my next local classes are, this includes all my children and adult classes through Level Up Louisville, and elsewhere locally. I’ll be updating it very frequently.
This afternoon we celebrated Max turning ONE. Next Sunday I’ll be sharing a post about his party. Just a reminder, here
is the link to the email list, all blog posts directly to your inbox.
Have a lazy Sunday Night, Friends. Louisville folks, don’t forget to sign up for the March floral watercolor workshop here.
